                     Program in Jamaica

Furthers Children’s Empowerment

Stardust Children’s Foundation, Inc. (SCF), (Natick, MA) announces the introduction of its first program in Jamaica with children at the Broughton Primary School in Broughton, Jamaica, West Indies. Jeanne Lesniak, SCF Executive Director, and Suzanne Laferriere (Chester, South Carolina) were the volunteers who taught the children’s empowerment program.  We intend to expand the educational endeavors in Jamaica during 2011 with several additional programs.

Jeanne believes that “children are born into this world full of wonder, imagination, and pure joy and happiness in living each moment now.  Our program empowers children to grow their purpose throughout their lives so that they may contribute to the positive transformation of the world through the treasured gifts each one of them brings.”

Mrs. Marva Davis Clarke (Principal) and Jeanne Lesniak with the fifth and sixth grade children at the Broughton Primary School.

We are pleased to announce that the books and school supplies we donated to the school were well received and the “Hearts Around the World” program was a huge success with the children.  According to Mrs. Clarke, Principal of the school, this “Hearts Around the World” program has “allowed the children to believe in themselves and has provided them with tools for life-long success”. Our mission of educating children to live in their greatness has taken a tremendous leap forward by teaching the first through sixth grades at the Broughton Primary School.  They now have the support of SCF, their teachers and fellow students to progress in living their dreams.

The children now hold the responsibility of bringing this program back to their homes, families, communities and locals to further the expansion of all Jamaicans living in their greatness.  We are most grateful to the children, the teachers and Mrs. Clarke for the opportunity to enhance the lives of the children and their communities.

Jeanne Lesniak, founder of SCF and creator of the educational curricula, believes “now is the time to focus on empowering children so that they may reach their greatness and live from their hearts.”   Because children are the foundation of the future and family, she has developed a specific program for children, their parents, teachers, counselors, and community members.

The foundation believes that teaching children to follow their dreams, live on purpose, and hold an attitude of success and perseverance brings extensive positive changes around the world. Those positive changes develop from children that live empowered and fulfilled lives.  “I believe that consciously creating our lives by thinking and feeling from the end is the key to living a joyful, happy and peaceful life,” she stated.

Stardust Children’s Foundation, Inc. (SCF) is a not-for-profit corporation based in Natick, SCF is an educational organization dedicated to empowering children to achieve their individual and collective greatness leading to the creation of positive changes throughout the world.

The foundation offers education to empower each child to live in their greatness.  Our mission is to transform the world through each child living their dreams.  We are joining Hearts Around the World™ in soliciting donations to our mission and volunteer their services should they have the desire.
